Terms of Service

Last updated: March 23, 2026

By purchasing or using Sinter (“the Product”), provided by Jonte Edvardson AB, operating as Dissonance Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”), you (“you”, “Buyer”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the Product.

Sinter is a commercial source code starter template for building web applications. Upon purchase, you receive access to the full source code, documentation, development tools, and associated materials.

  • Payments are processed securely through Polar (polar.sh)
  • All prices are listed in USD and include applicable taxes where required by law
  • You must provide accurate billing and contact information
  • Your purchase is complete once payment is confirmed and product access is delivered

After successful payment, you will receive access to the Product source code via a private GitHub repository invite. Delivery is typically immediate but may take up to 24 hours.

Your use of the Product source code is governed by the Sinter Commercial License Agreement (LICENSE.md), included with the Product. These Terms do not replace the License. Both apply. In the event of a conflict, the License Agreement takes precedence regarding permitted use of the source code.

Key license terms (see the license page for full details):

  • Two license types: Solo (1 individual) and Team (up to 5 named seats)
  • Unlimited projects, client work, and modifications allowed
  • No redistribution, reselling, or creating competing products
  • License is non-transferable

Your purchase includes updates for as long as the Product is actively developed. You will receive access to all new versions, improvements, and bug fixes as they are released.

If the Product is discontinued:

  • You retain full rights to use the last version you received, under the License terms
  • No features will be removed from versions you already have access to

As the Product is digital content, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase under EU consumer protection law.

To exercise this right, contact us at legal@getsinter.dev within 14 days of purchase. Upon withdrawal:

  • Your repository access will be revoked
  • You must delete all copies of the source code in your possession
  • A full refund will be issued to your original payment method

After 14 days, all sales are final.

You agree not to:

  • Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Sinter source code
  • Use the Product to build a competing starter kit or template product
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
  • Provide false or misleading information during purchase
  • Share your access credentials or purchased materials with unauthorised parties
  • Circumvent any access controls or delivery mechanisms

If you have a payment issue, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Unresolved disputes or improper chargebacks may result in license revocation.

We reserve the right to terminate your license and revoke access if you engage in prohibited conduct.

Sinter includes AI-powered features that integrate with third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic and OpenAI). When you use these features:

  • Your inputs may be sent to the selected AI provider for processing
  • AI outputs are generated automatically and may not always be accurate
  • You are responsible for reviewing and validating AI-generated content before use
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI outputs

All intellectual property rights in the Product remain with us. Your purchase grants a license to use the Product, not ownership of it. Content you create using Sinter belongs to you. See the License Agreement for full terms.

We use third-party services for payment processing and product delivery. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the practices or policies of third-party services.

We collect and process personal data in connection with your purchase and use of the Product. For details on what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights, see our Privacy Policy.

The Product is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Product will meet your specific requirements, be error-free, or be compatible with all environments. Nothing in this section excludes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Product shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in this section excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Product at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access updates and repository access ceases, but your license to the source code already received (if validly purchased) survives per the License terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with the updated date. Material changes will be communicated via email where possible. Continued use of the Product after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden.

For EU consumers: you may also find dispute resolution bodies in your country via the EU Consumer Redress portal. Swedish consumers may contact Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN).

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
