This Privacy Policy describes how Jonte Edvardson AB, operating as Dissonance Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit getsinter.dev (“the Website”) or purchase Sinter (“the Product”).

These services process your data under their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for them to perform their function.

Our website uses:

  • Essential cookies: Required for the site to function (e.g., session management). Cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies: We use PostHog for website analytics, including page views, session recordings, and usage patterns. Analytics cookies are blocked by default until you explicitly accept them via the consent banner. You can reject analytics at any time, and no tracking data will be collected. If you change your mind, clear your cookies to see the consent banner again.
  • Purchase records and email: Retained for as long as your license is active, plus any period required by Swedish tax law (typically 7 years for financial records)
  • Support correspondence: Retained for 2 years after last contact, then deleted

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you promptly.

Your data may be processed outside the EU/EEA by our third-party services (e.g., GitHub in the US). These transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or the service's certification under applicable data protection frameworks.

The Product is not intended for individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with the updated date. Material changes will be communicated via email where possible.
